We created space yet kept the character of this forgotten property that had, once upon a time, housed someone’s story. For this investor’s flip property, we removed interior walls to open the floor plan and installed new windows and a wall-to-wall skylight. We introduced natural light and room to move throughout the floorplan. In the hub of the home, the modern kitchen, we installed a tile-form, stacked-stone backsplash in complement to the stacked-stone hearth and exterior path. We restored the rooftop deck within the canopy of Carmel foliage and introduced a cobalt-blue framed, glass-panel front door to create character upon arrival.
