Having spent 23 years in Raleigh, North Carolina, before moving back to Aptos to be closer to his wife's family, Steve's career was adorned with achievements and experiences that spoke volumes of his expertise, passion for learning, and hands-on approach to construction. From building parade floats to holding a paramedic certification, Steve was a man of many talents and passions.
What truly set Steve apart was his genuine, open heart. Whether it was expressing his love for his family, engaging in playful banter with colleagues, or helping others achieve their goals and dreams, Steve did so with transparency and warmth. His 22 year love story with his wife Alli, described as love at first sight, and his devotion to his family, including the four children from his first marriage, showcased a man who valued love and relationships above all else.
